Bankroll Per Game / Investment
Successful Texas Hold’em and investing is only possible when you make good decisions. You cannot make good decisions if some of the options that you would like to utilise are not available to you because of insufficient bankroll in the context of a game or investment.
In Texas Hold’em you cannot extract the maximum possible value from a hand unless you have sufficient bankroll to bet correctly if necessary and therefore force your opponents to bet also and increase the size of the available pot.
In investing, you cannot put more capital into a successful investment if you do not have a sufficient amount left to outweigh the transaction costs of increasing your investment size.
