Step 14. After The (Investment) Flop: Turn & River
Play after the flop is generally much more straightforward since the strength of your hand and the potential strength of other players’ hands will be much clearer at this point. Therefore, you must keep analysing the potential of the board for other players and using pot odds and implied odds rigorously to ensure that you make the correct decisions.
Similarly, in investing after the Investment Flop event or timeframe has occurred and you have acted according to your pre-set investment criteria, if you are still in the investment it is likely that you have benefited from a good outcome at this point. Therefore, it should be considerably easier to make decisions on what to do with your position to either lock in your profit or possibly improve it.
